Indu Menon

Indu Menon is an acclaimed Indian novelist and short story writer. She was awarded the Central Sahitya Award for Young Writers in 2014, and was recognized by India Today as one of India's Upcoming Writers in 2015. In 2005, India Today also selected her as one of the twenty young talents of Kerala. Several of Menon's stories have been adapted into films, including "Father and Virgin", which was screened at the Cannes International Film Festival in France in 2009. Her short film "You Can't Step Twice in the Same River" won an award at the River to River Festival in Italy in 2010. Additionally, "Mrigam" premiered at the Marché du Film Film Market in conjunction with the Cannes International Film Festival in 2011. Provided by Wikipedia
